In their first road match after five games at home, DePaul could not push past for the win.

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Regardless of coming off of a win in Wednesday's match, the momentum was not there as DePaul dropped in three sets against Seton Hall 3-0 (18-25, 12-25, 16-25).

In the first set, Seton Hall jumped out to a 6-0 lead before a Donna Brown kill put the Blue Demons on the board sparking a 3-0 run. The Pirates stayed in front for the remainder of the set and held DePaul at 18 and went on to take the first stanza.

DePaul scored three of the first four point to take the lead, however, the score quickly knotted at 3-3. Regardless of the Blue Demons acquiring the lead mid-way through, Seton Hall once again pushed past to take the second set 25-12.

DePaul garnered 16 points in the third set but could not push past Seton Hall to drop the match.

The Blue Demons will return to action tomorrow as they travel to St. John's for a 4:00 p.m. match.
