Volleyball Set for Senior Night

In their final weekend of the season, the Blue Demons will host St. John's and then Seton Hall for Senior Night.
CHICAGO, Ill. - In the Blue Demons last weekend of 2018 contests, DePaul will host St. John's on Friday in a 7:00 p.m. match and will then host Seton Hall on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. for Senior Night.Â
"This weekend marks a special weekend where we have the chance to celebrate our seniors Ashley Marshall and Dominika Kowalska. Since we have arrived here at DePaul, both players have made a lot of adjustments to their games in the very short period of time and we very much appreciate their buy in and efforts to transition the program in positive ways. We will definitely miss their personalities, as they brought a lot to the team in terms of laughs, joy and the ability to always be themselves. We wish them the best as they finish their careers here and transition into the next phase of their lives."
Last Time vs. St. John's
The Blue Demons won the first two sets on the road at St. John's earlier in the season but ended up falling behind in five sets 2-3 (26-24, 25-21, 27-29, 16-25, 9-15).
Scouting the Red StormÂ
The Red Storm will be participating in the BIG EAST Tournament for the first time since 2012. St. John's was picked to tie for sixth alongside Xavier in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll, but their record of 22-9 (11-5 BIG EAST) currently places them third in the standings to clinch the tournament berth.Â
Last Time vs. Seton Hall
The Blue Demons dropped in three sets at Seton Hall earlier this season 0-3 (18-25, 12-25, 16-25).
Scouting the PiratesÂ
Seton Hall currently sits eighth in the BIG EAST standings, one place above DePaul. The Pirates have a record of 9-20 (4-12 BIG EAST) and have been swept in their last two matches.Â
