McCarthy, Wolf Lead Blue Demons on Day One at EKU Intercollegiate

Two players finish with identical totals after two rounds on Saturday
RICHMOND, Ky. – Joe McCarthy and Campbell Wolf are in a group in 27th place to lead DePaul after the first 36 holes of the EKU Intercollegiate. The final round is set for Sunday morning at the University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Ky.
McCarthy and Wolf each posted totals of 144 (+4) over the first two rounds on Saturday. McCarthy posted the best round of the day by a Blue Demon with a 69 (-1) in the second round that followed an opening score of 75 (+5). Wolf, playing in his first collegiate event, fired identical rounds of 72 (+2) to finish at 144 (+4).
Bobby Thomas is tied for 43rd place after carding rounds of 75 (+5) and 72 (+2) and Carlo Antonio Gatmaytan is tied for 81st place. Gatmaytan posted scores of 79 (+9) and 77 (+7).
As a team, DePaul is in 13th place with a team score of 591 (+31). Eastern Michigan leads the field with a three-under team total of 557 while three players are tied for first with rounds of 137 (-3).
