Men's Soccer Travels to Butler Saturday

CHICAGO - DePaul men's soccer hits the road this week for a weekend tilt at Butler in Indianapolis, Ind. The 4-5-2, 0-1-2 Blue Demons are taking on the 6-4-0, 1-2-0 Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Varsity Field.Â
DePaul is coming off a 0-0 double overtime draw against then-ranked No. 5 Georgetown heading into their next BIG EAST contest. The Blue Demons have four different players with two goals including Max de Bruijne, Zach El-Shafei and Youssef Ramadan. Jake Fuderer leads the team in assists with four. Keeper Drew Nuelle, who was tabbed to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll earlier this week has notched 35 saves for the Blue Demons in goal.Â

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Butler is riding a two-game winning streak coming into Saturday's match. Brandon Guhl leads the team with four goals, followed by Wilmer Cabrera, Jr. with three. Alex Lehtinen and Jack Haywood have both dished out a team-leading five assists for the Bulldogs. Gabriel Gjergji has handled the goalkeeping duties for Butler, playing in all ten games, earning three shutouts this far into the season. He owns a goals against average of 1.06 to accompany a save percentage of 0.814. Gjergji has made 48 stops in between the posts.Â
