DePaul Drops Series Finale at Butler

BUTLER, Ind. - DePaul dropped 1-8 in the series finale at Butler to open up BIG EAST play.
Butler would put its first two runs on the board early on and in an attempt to respond, DePaul would put up its lone run of the game in the top of the third.
Gabby O'Riley singled down the left field line and advanced to second after Kate Polucha was walked. Morgan Greenwood singled to center field, scoring O'Riley.
Butler would hold DePaul to its one run to win the game.
The Blue Demons will be back in action this Wednesday, March 27 for a 4:00 p.m. contest at Northwestern.
