DePaul Kicks Off BIG EAST Play Friday

CHICAGO -Â Friday marks the kick off of BIG EAST Conference play for DePaul Men's Soccer when they play host to the Villanova Wildcats in a 2:00 p.m. showdown on Wish Field. The Blue Demons will look to snap a two-game losing streak.

As a team, DePaul is sitting in a tie for second place in the league for assists with 11 total, just seven behind the league leader, Georgetown. Max de Bruijne and Jake Fuderer are each tied for third in the league with three apiece.

Nova is posting a 4-2 overall record so far and comes to Lincoln Park riding a two-game losing streak following two road games at Penn State and Maryland. Lyam MacKinnon leads the team with two goals and four assists. The Wildcats have seven different goal-scorers including MacKinnon. Shane Bradley follows MacKinnon with two assists. Carson Williams has played 551 minutes in all six matches for Villanova and owns a 0.33 goals against average to accompany a 0.895 save percentage. He has made 17 saves while only allowing two goals.
