Men's Tennis Drops 7-0 Decision to No. 42 Notre Dame

Monday's road match was the fourth against a nationally ranked team
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – DePaul ran into a talented and nationally ranked opponent during a rare Monday road match.
The Blue Demons fell to No. 42 Notre Dame 7-0 at the Courtney Tennis Center. Notre Dame (11-8) has faced nine nationally ranked men's tennis teams with victories over No. 41 Duke, No. 46 Ball State and No. 50 Western Michigan.
This was the fourth nationally ranked opponent for coach Matt Brothers and his program with a win over No. 44 Northern Illinois and previous setbacks to No. 38 Middle Tennessee State and No. 50 Western Michigan.
The Fighting Irish clinched the doubles point after winning at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. DePaul (9-6) was swept in the six singles matches.
Next up for the Blue Demons is a Friday match at the University of Chicago in Hyde Park.
