CHICAGO – In its third ranked opponent across the last four games, the DePaul men's basketball team couldn't hold off No. 16 Marquette, 89-69, Saturday afternoon inside Wintrust Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Marquette held a one-point lead at halftime before extending their lead to 12, 50-38, seven minutes into the second period. DePaul continued to find an answer for every Marquette stretch, clawing back into the game on back-to-back three-pointers by Gibson.
