DePaul Plays Host to UConn

CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer plays host to UConn on Thursday, Oct. 12 for a 3 p.m. CT matchup. Fans can stream the match on Marquee Sports Network as well as FloSports. Admission is free for all fans in celebration of Family and Alumni Weekend.

DePaul (5-5-2, 1-3-1 BIG EAST) welcomes UConn to Lincoln Park after notching their first conference win against Butler last Sunday. Freya Jupp played a key role in the Blue Demons' 2-1 victory, netting the game winning goal and providing the assist for Beth Smyth's connection. The sophomore's performance earned her a spot on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

The Huskies (5-3-4, 2-1-2 BIG EAST) are currently ranked fourth in the conference. UConn arrives at Wish Field off its first BIG EAST loss against Xavier, 1-0. So far this season, the Huskies have defeated programs like Boston, Marist, Creighton and St. John's.

UConn leads the all-time series against DePaul 9-1. The last meeting between the two programs took place on Oct. 13, 2022 when DePaul dropped a 3-1 decision in Storrs, Conn.
