DePaul Invites Providence to Lincoln Park

CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer plays host to Providence Thursday, Oct. 4, for a 3 p.m. CT matchup. Fans can stream the match on the BIG EAST Digital Network.

DePaul women's soccer (4-5-1, 0-3-0 BIG EAST) looks to break its three match skid after falling to No. 11 Georgetown 1-0, last Sunday. The Blue Demons were able to hold the Hoyas at bay with their defensive tactics until the second half, when Georgetown broke through to score the game winning goal.

Providence (7-2-1, 2-0-1 BIG EAST) arrives to Lincoln Park off a 3-1 victory against Creighton. So far this season, the Friars have collected wins from programs like Seton Hall, Rhode Island, Brown and Temple.

The Friars lead the all-time series against DePaul 7-8-4. The last meeting between the two programs took place on Oct. 6, 2022 when Providence hosted the Blue Demons and won 2-1.
