DePaul Opens BIG EAST Slate at Marquette

CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer (4-2-1) takes a trip to Milwaukee, Wis. on Thursday, Sept. 21 to kickoff their BIG EAST conference slate with a 7 p.m. CT matchup against Marquette (3-4-2). Fans can stream the match here.

The Blue Demons look to stay in the win column after defeating NIU 1-0 last Thursday. Elena Milam recorded another shutout, granting her another BIG EAST accolade for the second week in a row. Junior forward Susie Soderstrom forced a goalkeeper error with a dangerous, low, hard driven ball across the box that resulted in the winning goal for DePaul.

Marquette plays host to the Blue Demons after a 1-1 draw with St. Thomas last Sunday. So far, this season, the Golden Eagles have collected wins from programs like Colorado, Milwaukee, and Western Michigan.

The last contest between DePaul and Marquette took place on Sept. 22, 2022 when Marquette defeated the Blue Demons 3-2 at Wish Field.
