Blue Demons aim to defeat Flames for second time this year
CHICAGO – DePaul softball welcomes local rival UIC to Cacciatore Stadium for a midweek contest on Tuesday, April 15. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. with coverage carried on Marquee Sports Network here.
The Blue Demons will collaborate with Cubs Nike RBI to commemorate Jackie Robinson Day at the ballpark on Tuesday. April 15 is celebrated annually as the day 78 years ago that Robinson made his major league debut, the first African American to do so. His debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers ended more than 80 years of segregation in baseball, and Robinson continued to advocate for civil rights after the conclusion of his playing career.

DePaul will welcome UConn for a two day-series, with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, and the final game of the weekend at 11 a.m. Saturday. On Saturday, fans can participate in an egg hunt with DIBS throughout the stadium and receive autographs from student-athletes in Letterwinner Plaza following the game.
