
Golf Opens Season at Highlands Invitational

First-year Blue Demons head coach Ryan Jamison debuts 2025-26 squad
DePaul men's golf is set to kick off its 2025-26 season at the Highlands Invitational, Sept. 15-16. The event, set to take place at Chicago Highlands Golf Club in Westchester, Ill., features a par 72, 7,350-yard course.
A diverse lineup of collegiate teams will compete, including Coastal Carolina, Davidson, DePaul, East Tennessee State, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Loyola-Chicago, UTSA, VCU, Wake Forest, and Yale.
DePaul's lineup is set to include Dominic Lucchesi, Rohan Gopaldas, Austin Scott, North Chery, and Leif Breede. Notably, Monday marks the collegiate debut for both Cherry and Breede. The Blue Demons lineup includes a pair of returners in Lucchesi and Gopaldas, both of whom had stellar freshman seasons in 2024-25. Scott makes his DePaul debut after coming to Lincoln Park following four years with Clemson.
The 13-team field tees off Monday morning at 7 a.m. in a shotgun start. DePaul will start at hole one as a part of the 36-round day that will be played continuously.
Following this week's tournament, DePaul returns to action Sept. 22-23 in Madison, Wis. at the Badger Invitational.Â
