Blue Demons Search for Second-Straight BIG EAST Win

DePaul takes on Seton Hall on the road on Thursday evening
CHICAGO - DePaul women's soccer travels to South Orange, N.J. to take on Seton Hall on Thursday at 5 p.m. CT. The Blue Demons will be looking to make it two-straight conference victories after DePaul topped Villanova, 3-2 on Sunday behind a Morgan Turner hat trick.
Thursday's match is scheduled to be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports presented by SoFi. First touch is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT at Carroll Field in South Orange. The last time the Blue Demons took on the Pirates on the east coast, the Blue Demons cruised to a 3-0 win on Sept. 22, 2018.
KEEPING THE STREAK
DePaul has not lost to Seton Hall since 2011, posting eight-straight decisions that have been wins or draws. The Blue Demons have outscored the Pirates 7-0 in the last two matchups which came in 2018 and 2019

Graduate student Morgan Turner has led the Blue Demon offense this fall, tallying a team-high seven goals. Turner has 29 career goals as a Blue Demon and has moved into fourth-place all-time. Turner's hat trick versus Villanova was the second of her career. Last season, she was named to the All-BIG EAST second team after leading the Blue Demons in goals. Turner earned first-team honors following a 10-goal output in the Blue Demons' last full season in 2019.
SETON HALL NOTES
- With eight games to play and a 6-6 overall record, Seton Hall has its most wins in a season since winning seven games in 2012.
- The Pirates have won three of their six games at home this season and are in search of their first BIG EAST victory at Owen T. Carroll Field.
- Seton Hall has dropped its last three games, a season-long.
- This calendar year, the Pirates have beaten Villanova (Sept. 23) for the first time since 2013 and St. John's (March 25) for the first time since 2010.
- Freshman Sophie Liston (Newcastle West, Ireland) is tied for fourth in the conference with five assists.
- Senior Laura Hooper (Watford, England) is tied for third in the BIG EAST with five points (two goals, one assist) in conference play.
